An Erasmus+ mobility project offering to 100 young people in high-specialization post-secondary “ITS” courses (Higher Technical Schools) of Region Emilia-Romagna, the opportunity to live a work experience in a EU company abroad for about two months.

Q-Placements – Qualità nella mobilità
The project, coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa, will define and test quality procedures in mobility exchanges, for young people and companies, students and workers.

4T4EU – Tolerance, Talent and Technology: Train for Europe
Organization of 100 mobilities grants for young people from the Provinces of Reggio Emilia, Rimini, Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena, Parma e Piacenza, available on the labour market and aged between 19 and 32 years old. The areas of training refer to: Tolerance Area: Social, Welfare, Education, Health; Talent Area: Arts, Music, Communication, Tourism, Culture, Territorial Valorization, planning and project design; Technologies Area: Energy, Environment, Logistics, Research and development. Destination countries are: Portugal, Spain, Greece, France, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Lithuania.

LLP – Leonardo da Vinci – mobility PLM
COINSET – Innovative Competences for Entrepreneurship in the field of Marine Transport and Leisure Tourism
Training of new professionals in the field of ship industry and its led, with particular attention to the shipbuilding sector for passenger transport, to the commercial area, and to the recreational boating tourism, through the organization of internships abroad for the duration of 13 weeks, in favour of 70 young graduates of the Provinces of Ancona, Pesaro and Bari. Countries of destination are: UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, France and Spain.

CHINA – Managers Exchange and Training Programme
The project aims to support China’s reform process and promote mutual understanding between China and the EU through the development of Human Resources. The project consists of four components: 1) management training and internships for Chinese managers of different backgrounds in the EU (this contract covers management training of Chinese managers at a first-class European business school and subsequent services such as organization of study visits, administrative support to Chinese participants); 2) capacity building for Chinese institutions; 3) Chinese (business) language training and internships for European managers in China; 4) intercultural capacity and skills development among participating institutions and individuals.
The envisaged results of the project are: key players in Chinese society use their know-how gained through exposure to the European society and economy to contribute to China’s reform process; capacity of Chinese institutions to train intercultural target groups is consolidated; capacity of EU managers to perform in Chinese businessenvironment is enhanced; intercultural capacity and skills developed among participating individuals.

ULIXES’ EYES
A cross-border business exchange project aimed at helping new or would-be entrepreneurs to acquire the relevant skills for managing a small or medium-sized enterprise by spending time at firms of experienced entrepreneurs in another EU state. The project’s goal is to help improve entrepreneurship, internationalization and competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

ESF 2007-2013Tuscany POR OB. 2 – Transnational Activities
NOVIMPRE project: For an innovative idea of entrepreneurship – Transfer of best practices and design of a training model in the territory of Grosseto Province, in Tuscany Region.
The overall objective is the exchange of best practices on management training modeland support actions for Training Agencies (aimed at developing their capacity to appeal and train SMEs entrepreneurs).

The aim of the project is to share and transfer at transnational level a good European practice dealing with management training for SMEs, adapting it to the local context of the Grosseto Province. The final aim is to involve in specific training activities managers and would-be managers, and to strengthen the capacity of local Training Agencies.
Main activities:

  • Organisation of a study visit and ad hoc meeting in Wales for the Tuscany Training Agencies to get acquainted with the specific model and share the good practice on management training;
  • Organisation and management of 2 focus groups in Italy to discuss the best practice experience, with a focal point on 2 main economic sectors of the area;
  • Develop a new management training model adjusted to the Grosseto Province local context and needs;
  • Final event to disseminate results and present an action plan to implement the new model.

European Union – National Pre-Accession Financial Assistance Programme for Turkey 2006
TURKEY – Support to Human Resources Development through Vocational Education and Training
The overall objective is to promote the development and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Eastern and South-eastern regions of Turkey through the participation of a qualified and skilled labour force. The purpose is to promote human resources development through the upgrading and modernisation of initial and continuing vocational education and training (VET) in the selected provinces (Malatya, Van, Gaziantep, Diyarbak?r, ?anl?urfa, Elaz??, Erzurum, Kahramanmara?) within a lifelong learning perspective.
The content of training programmes to be developed, revised and delivered will be based on the results of successive regional economic/labour force surveys, and will include technical skill training (i.e. food processing), training for entrepreneurship (i.e. developing business plans, marketing) in secondary, post-secondary schools, and NVECs, as well as SME awareness raising activities to be provided under VET education programs. Curricula development will be parallel to staff training, and a major public information campaign will be mounted with the social partners to help identify labour force demand, publicize the new programs and encourage youth and adults to enrol.
The following results will be achieved:

  • Establish structural dialogues between SME associations and educational institutions in order to analyse labour demands in 8 provinces;
  • Develop and pilot new modular based curricula including 5th level (of the EQF) in 8 post second higher vocational schools
  • Assist the revision and implementation of curricula in 16 VET schools through the support of revised educational materials and equipment aiming at increasing employability and entrepreneurship;
  • Support 5 Non formal Vocational Educational Centres (NVECs) in modernising curricula with a LLL perspective;
  • Deliver entrepreneurship skills through the provision of VET in 16 VET schools, 8 post Secondary Higher Vocational Schools (PSHVs) and 5 NVECs;
  • Assist VET to become more attractive in the selected provinces with the contribution of all stakeholders;
  • Enhance the competencies and skills of teaching and managing staff implementing new/revised programs;
  • Develop a strategy paper elaborating the experience gained and providing recommendations in terms of recognition of formal and informal learning, and strengthening the quality of LLL in the region

ESF 2000 – 2006 : POR Abruzzo Region
Study Visits for Abruzzo Region civil servants
Service of organization of study visits to meet excellence experiences and organizations, active in employment policies, education and training. Visits were organised as part of a learning process, to understand contexts in which best practices were born and grown. Strengths, weaknesses, success factors were explored and, eventually, a process of recontextualisation to the Abruzzo Region was carried out, to analyse and assess transferable aspects. The project achieved also the creation of a common, coordinated path for the various Employment Centres and for the Abruzzo Region. Twenty visits were organised and carried out, of which 2 abroad, involving 44 managers and civil servants of the Abruzzo Region and its Provinces.

European Union –TACIS Programme
NIS COUNTRIES (Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Belarus) – Managers’ Training Programme III
The programme’s overall objective was to strengthen management quality and efficiency in companies as well as to provide comprehensive support to sustainable management development in NIS countries (Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Belarus). This was realized through the organization of internships for 777 managers in European companies; organization of a 4 week study visit for 196 managers; organization of technical visits, seminars and consulting activities (institutional building of local training centres).
IFOA tasks included organization of internships for 90 managers in Italian companies (2 groups for 2 months each and 2 groups for 3 months each); organization of a study visit of 2 weeks in Italy for 20 managers; “ad hoc” consulting activities.
