Talenti lombardi nel mondo – Second edition

Talenti lombardi nel mondo is a project funded by the Regional Government of Lombardy under Regional Law No. 9 of 21 May 2024, “Provisions for supporting and promoting Lombard communities around the world and their mobility”.
Talenti lombardi nel mondo: an ecosystem for education, employment and mobility is a project funded by the Regional Government of Lombardy to strengthen connections with Lombard communities living abroad and introduce them to the opportunities available in the region, with a view to a possible return.
In its second edition, the programme offers career guidance, training and a call for ideas. The winners will have the opportunity to enjoy a free one-week trip to Lombardy, featuring company visits, meetings and opportunities to exchange ideas with local businesses and stakeholders.
Thanks to its strong network of small and medium-sized enterprises and its forward-looking approach to economic development, Lombardy offers a highly attractive labour market at both national and international level, with career opportunities across a wide range of industries.
The distinctive strategic strengths of the region support the development of a smart and sustainable economic model, driven by knowledge and innovation and attractive to businesses, researchers and talented professionals.
Objectives
The project aims to support people of Lombard origin living abroad to:

- assess their professional profile by identifying how their skills and experience match the competencies sought by companies in Lombardy
- strengthen their skills, starting with professional Italian language and knowledge of the region’s key industries
- put their ideas into action by developing an innovative idea for Lombardy and engaging with businesses and local stakeholders.
Who can participate?
The project is open to:
