ULIXES’ EYES
A cross-border business exchange project aimed at helping new or would-be entrepreneurs to acquire the relevant skills for managing a small or medium-sized enterprise by spending time at firms of experienced entrepreneurs in another EU state. The project’s goal is to help improve entrepreneurship, internationalization and competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

LLP – Leonardo da Vinci – Transfer of Innovation
TITTESI – Transfer of Innovative Training Tools for Entrepreneurial Skills Improvement
Objective of the project is developing entrepreneurial skills for Slovak managers through training tools transferred by previous valuable EU projects. IFOA acts as the source of transfer, providing methodological and IT tools: questionnaires for needs analysis, structure and contents of training units, methods and tools for on-line assessment of competences, guidelines for trainers and trainees, web platform structure and services.

PATRON – Intergenerational learning and transfer of transversal skills related to entrepreneurial management
Identification and testing of ways to transfer the skills that senior managers and entrepreneurs have developed in their working life to young entrepreneurs and managers. Practices are transferred to the beneficiaries and outputs are transferred to the countries of the partnership aiming at a multiplying effect through the involvement of local entrepreneurs and Chambers of Commerce.

FYROM – TA to Human Resource Development Fund – Phase III
The project objective is to improve the microeconomic capability of the economy and contribute to improving the competitiveness of local companies. The project consists of 4 main components: 1) assistance to the enterprise managers for upgrading their skills and knowledge in international marketing, export and business partnering; 2) enhance the capacity of well-trained, market-oriented practitioners to deliver training and other services to the business sector in subjects that will be identified during the inception phase; 3) support networking between enterprise managers and between trainers, consultants and relevant public, semi-public and private institutions; 4) assistance for strengthening and development of the HRDF Institution.
Target groups: managers from privately owned enterprises within production and high value added services enterprises e.g. within IT, distribution and tourism; professional training providers and consultants engaged in the field of management training and development or enterprise development.

ROMANIA – Set-up of an Italy Point Training Center
The overall project objective is to set-up an “Italy Point” at the Permanent Education Department of Polytechnic of Timisoara in charge of designing and delivering training programmes having as beneficiaries: 10 local trainers; 50 young graduates and/or school leavers; adults. The “Italy Point” aims at satisfying the needs of Italian companies with regard to their request for qualified human resources by: completing and strengthening local skills in the field of management and/or of technical skills as well as reinforcing local skills in providing training in the field of management for the market oriented enterprises.

TURKEY – Support to women entrepreneurs
Creation of 5 technically and financially self-sustainable management training centres in Ankara, Bursa, Çorum, Denizli and Mersin. The aim is to provide professional orientation and technical training to women to develop or strengthen small family businesses. Activities include: recruitment and training of local trainers and administrative staff, development of training materials in local language in various management subjects, training delivery to 1,500 women, coaching of local trainers, organisation of study visits to Europe, refurbishment and equipping premises; and institution building to TESK to develop new policies in support of women entrepreneurs.

HUNGARY – Development of Human Resources for SMEs
Competitiveness improvement of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in 3 target regions. This was realised through comprehensive training to 1680 people and development programme focusing on enhancing: 1- business management and export skills of local SMEs, 2 – managerial skills of business support organisations in tourism and of business infrastructure or incubators.

POLAND and CZECH REPUBLIC – Creation of a Network of Business Advisors
The project aimed at creating a network of 3 Partnership Centres located in 3 different European regions: Bielsko-Biala (Poland), Emilia Romagna (Italy) and Moravia (Czech Republic). The network objective was Business Promotion and Development in order to facilitate and support SME business co-operation between Polish, Czech and Italian enterprises. Tasks included: training courses for Polish and Czech business advisors in business management and international promotion; organization of work-placements in Italy; market research and promotion of Polish and Czech SMEs; research of possible commercial linkages among Polish, Italian and Czech companies; organisation of mini-partenariat among the three regions.
