Development and Implementation of a National Strategy and Action Plan for Improving the Image and Social Perception of TVET in Egypt
Location – Egypt
IFOA, as partner of an international consortium, has been invited to tender by the European Union for a project in Egypt, whose overall objective is improve and enhance the structure and performance of the TVET system and TVET delivery in Egypt to better respond to the new socio-economic needs, in particular, youth employability and increased competitiveness in the current and future development.
The specific objective of this contract is to change the image and social perception of the TVET sector in Egypt through developing two image building strategies; one for TVET sector at large and another one, specifically, for TVET in the tourism sector. Based on these two strategies an action plan for their implementation is to be developed and implemented.
The purpose of this contract is to build a positive image and social perception for TVET sector in Egypt and mobilize all stakeholders’ capacities to contribute to the efforts consumed by TVET II Program to increasing the attractiveness of the TVET sector. While mobilizing stakeholders a process of building self-confidence at school and VTC level is essential so that Technical Secondary Schools principals, VTCs’ managers, teachers, trainers, students, trainees are confident of their value addition to the socio-economic development of the state.
Commencement date & Period of implementation
The intended commencement date is November 2016 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 25 months from this date.
Location
The operations of the project will take place in all relevant Governorates of Egypt.
To this regards, we are seeking for the following key experts:
Key expert 1: PR and Image Building Expert, Team Leader (minimum 270 working days). Key expert 2: Events Management and Trade Fairs Organization Expert (minimum 250 working days) Key expert 3: Social Media Expert (minimum 250 working days)
