Technical Assistance for Water Ambassadors Education and Awareness Raising Project
Location – Turkey
IFOA, as partner of an international consortium, has been invited to tender by the European Union for a project in Turkey, whose overall objective is to contribute to the environmental protection and sustainable use of water in Turkey.
The purpose of the project is to contribute to the environmental protection and sustainable use of water in Turkey, implementing awareness raising activities on environmental protection and effective and rational utilization of water resources.
Commencement date & Period of implementation
The intended commencement date is October 2016 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 15 months from this date.
Location
The operational base of the project will be in Ankara.
To this regards, we are seeking for the following key expert:
Key expert 1: Team Leader / Education and training expert
Job description
Ensures the overall management and liases with the Beneficiary and the Contracting Authority. Ensures the timely delivering of the project outputs, Establishes the work plans and scheduling of the different project components, Ensures the overall monitoring of the project and the required quality of the deliveries, Elaborates the required progress reports and defines measurable indicators for the subsequent programme monitoring and evaluation, Ensures the preparation, implementation and management of all training activities within the project, Ensures delivering consultancy in the field of “training component” within the project.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in one of the fields of educational sciences, socials sciences or in the absence of such a degree, at least 10 years of working experience in one of these fields, Good command of written and spoken English, Full computer literacy.
General professional experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of education and training.
Specific professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in education programs and training issues, preferably regarding primary education and/or adult training (i.e. Training of Trainers), Post-graduate degree in journalism or public relations or communications (MSc, MBA and/or PhD degree) will be an asset
