Welcome to the international activities of IFOA in the field of the Vocational Education and Training and active labour market measures in Europe and in the international context.

Since 90s, IFOA has been working with a very strong vocational lean towards the European and transnational dimension, in line with the strategies of the European Union related to the internationalisation of regions and businesses.

IFOA, following the European Union principles, strongly believes in the exchange and sharing of experiences and best practices, aiming at developing Vocational Education and Training Systems, EQF, ECVET, to the advantage of our partners: Public Administration and private companies.

IFOA provides for the effective design and management of projects directly financed by the European Union aiming at the development of VET.

We manage technical assistance projects for Public Administrations and Institutional bodies in Eastern Europe and the Balkan region, NIS, the Mediterranean basin, Latin America, Central Asia and China.

The characteristics of our interventions are:

• strong synergy with the policies and priorities of the European Union (Lisbon Strategy, Europe 2020) and with those of the local context,
• multi-stakeholders partnerships including Public Administration and private companies,
• focus on the research and development of innovative products and methodologies in Vocational Education and Training.

As leader, coordinator or partner, IFOA assures valuable management of large-scale projects, providing technical assistance to Public Administration and private companies in all project phases, including project design, management and co-ordination of activities, administrative and sound financial management, monitoring and evaluation.
