What is this?

Through Italian Legal Decree of 10th May 2006 published in the Official Journal no. 134 of 12/06/2006 – Ordinary Supplement no.142, the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research established the telematic university Universitas Mercatorum, the Telematic University project presented to the MIUR in December 2005 by a Consortium, constituted 50% by the national Unioncamere, 25% by a group formed by the Chambers of Commerce of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Ifoa, and the remaining 25% by the Tagliacarne Institute, DINTEC and seventeen Chambers of Commerce spread across the national territory.


Ifoa’s role

Strong from its experience in the implementation of e-learning projects and thanks to its specific avant-garde web technology, Ifoa is the project’s methodological and technological partner, whose role involves assuring methodological quality standards and delivering the technological services linked to the on-line courses.
